Renegade  Photo  Shoots

Founded in New York City
In 2007 the first Renegade Photo Shoots was held in NYC. A multi-location, multi-genre photo education concept, eleven participants spent 8-hours traipsing the streets of New York City, creating assignments in studio beauty, street photography, celebrity paparazzi and NYC lifestyle.

In 2008 the concept debuted in San Francisco.

In 2009 we formed Renegade Photo Shoots SF Meetup.

For 2020 Renegade Photo Shoots debuts multi-day travel immersion workshops.

Renegade Photo Shoots does photography education workshops differently. If you do not walk away saying, "Wow, guess what I did," then we did not do our job.

Martha Blanchfield, founder and chief renegade

Craving community, and the opportunity to invent campy photo shoots that deliver top-notch learning, Martha Blanchfield founded Renegade Photo Shoots. Having carved out some dandy relationships with Puerto Vallarta natives and professionals in the Puerto Vallarta travel and tourism ranks, she is delighted to expand her signature programming to Mexico, starting in 2020.

Most recently having served as the WW global public relations manager for ProGrade Digital memory cards, Martha has worked for imaging industry clients such as Nikon, Lexar, SanDisk, BenQ, GoPro and others. She freelance writes and photographs, and her journalism pursuits have landed placement of articles and images in Rangefinder, AfterCapture, Studio Photography magazines, plus Latitude 38, Points East, Classic Boat (UK), Nautique (NL), SFGate, Antigua Classics Yacht Regatta (ANU), JBoats newsletter, Adventure Sports Journal and more. She has earned cover shots with various publications, plus awards for community photojournalism.
