Workshop numero uno in San Francisco--a multi-venue shoot fest that kept the gang of 20 moving. This is from the heyday of our Meetup group, Renegade Photo Shoots SF.
Kingmond Young lead this session. I can't believe that is not a woman." |

Good ole Buckbean Beer--a pre-Silicon Valley tech heydays startup NOT based in California. That's the CEO and founder behind the bar with our sassy barmistress.
Cannot recall the horse's name, but that's Bart the bad boy and Russell our gunslingin' hero. We started our shoot-out in a Burlingame backyard, grabbing staged product shots, lifestyle flirtations with the CEO, then mean glance portraits. In our next set-up, where we saunter down and over a few blocks to a park, our bad boy rider showed a few rider tricks--until the law showed up and told us to move along. Bart makes off with the maiden and rides off into the 3pm. From there, some of us hightailed it outta town. The balance hoofed it to a nearby railroad. Yes, RR as in CalTrain. Remember the good old days when you could photograph a squirming heroine tied to the tracks? That's the first advertising shoot I have done. It was great to meet the founder and work with him to understand more about his company. Covert operations in a Burlingame, California, backyard. Thank you Linda B. We shall preserve your identity since you had a horse roaming about on your property within city-limits.
All told, the Renegades broke several rules that day--we also took a horse into the park and had the rider do dangerous tricks, then he scooped up the lady in pink and galloped off. Ah, and then somehow she ended up tied to the RR tracks. Photos by Chief Renegade MB. |
